Abstrak

The number of potential blood donations affects the selection process, therefore a process for selecting potential blood donation is needed which can be categorized as a decision-making action. One method of systematic decision-making is to construct a decision tree. This study aims to build an application for the selection of prospective blood donations to facilitate the selection process. The method used in this research is the C4.5 algorithm. The C4.5 algorithm is used to classify so that the results of processing the data set test are in the form of grouping data into classes.

The system development method used in this research is Waterfall. The product test used the Dimension of Quality for Goods with a result of 87.86%, so it can be concluded that the product has been successful/valid and the benefits test of this study used ULEA with the highest aspect of Efficiency of 97%. Based on these results, the design of the Application for the Selection of Prospective Blood Donations at UDD PMI Banyumas Regency Using the C4.5 Algorithm is feasible to use and simplifies the process of selecting prospective blood donation.
