Sistem informasi destinasi wisata merupakan sebuah aplikasi berbasis android yang dibangun untuk mempromosikan tujuan wisata yang ada di Kecamatan Salem Kabupaten Brebes. Dipilihnya destinasi wisata tersebut, karena terletak di daerah Salem yang dikelilingi hutan pegunungan Slamet berhawa sejuk dengan panorama pemandangan yang indah dan menarik serta layak untuk dijadikan tujuan wisata. Namun daerahnya terpencil sehingga kurang dikenal masyarakat atau wisatawan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah kegiatan promosi yang efektif dan efisien agar tujuan wisata lebih dikenal, diharapkan dapat berpengaruh terhadap perekonomian masyarakat sekitar. Salah satunya adalah dengan mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi sistem informasi promosi destinasi wisata berbasis android tersebut. Kelebihannya, melalui aplikasi ini kegiatan promosi dapat dilakukan secara mudah melalui laptop, komputer atau smartphone kemudian informasi obyek wisata dapat langsung disebarkan secara global menggunakan jaringan internet. Kemudian para wisatawan dapat mengakses informasi tersebut melalui perangkat smartphone  di manapun berada selama masih terkoneksi dengan internet.

Abstract

Tourist destination information system is an android-based application that was built to promote tourist destinations in the District of Salem, Brebes Regency. The tourist destination was chosen because it is located in the Salem area surrounded by a cool mountainous Slamet forest with a panoramic view that is beautiful and interesting and deserves to be a tourist destination. But the area is remote so it is less known to the public or tourists. Therefore an effective and efficient promotional activity is needed so that the tourism destination is better known, is expected to affect the economy of the surrounding community. One way is to develop an information system application based on android destination travel promotion. The advantage, through this application promotional activities, can be done easily through a laptop, computer, or smartphone, and then tourist information can be directly distributed globally using the internet network. Then the tourists can access the information through smartphone devices wherever they are as long as they are still connected to the internet.
