Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Perempuan dengan Pelatihan Pembuatan Sabun Eco-Friendly di Kelurahan Kalisegoro Kecamatan Gunung Pati Kota Semarang

Hilangnya pendapatan kepala keluarga akibat pandemi COVID-19 mengharuskan setiap keluarga mencari alternatif lain untuk mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini berfokus pada pelatihan pembuatan sabun eco-friendly yang ramah lingkungan kepada ibu-ibu warga Kelurahan Kalisegoro untuk menambah pengetahuan masyarakat tentang sabun ramah lingkungan dan meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat dengan produksi sabun eco-friendly. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian adalah ibu-ibu PKK (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga) Kelurahan Kalisegoro Kecamatan Gunung Pati Kota Semarang berjumlah 25 orang. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam tiga tahap. Tahap pertama dilakukan pertemuan dan koordinasi dengan pihak kepala desa dan ketua kelompok ibu- ibu PKK yang akan diberi pelatihan pembuatan sabun eco-friendly. Tahap kedua yaitu kegiatan penyusunan materi dan persiapan metode praktik. Tahap ketiga yaitu pembinaan dan pelatihan mencakup pemberian materi kepada peserta pelatihan dalam bentuk teori, demonstrasi dan praktek. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini ditemukan sebanyak 10 orang dari 25 peserta dapat menjawab pertanyaan pre-test terkait sabun eco-friendly dan bahan-bahan pembuatannya. Hasil tutorial pembuatan sabun eco-friendly didapatkan bahwa sebanyak 20 peserta dapat menjawab pertanyaan post-test dan memahami cara pembuatan sabun eco-friendly. Berdasarkan hasil tanya jawab secara lisan, didapatkan bahwa sebanyak 15 peserta tertarik untuk melanjutkan hasil pengabdian dengan membuat sendiri sabun eco-friendly dan digunakan untuk keluarga.

ABSTRACT

The loss of income for the head of the family due to the COVID-19 pandemic requires every family to look for other alternatives to meet their daily needs. This Community Service focuses on training in making environmentally friendly soap for women residents of Kalisegoro Village to increase the community's knowledge about environmentally friendly soap and improve the community's economy by producing eco-friendly soap. Participants in the service activity were 25 PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) women from Kalisegoro sub-district, Gunung Pati District, Semarang City. Activities are carried out in three stages. The first stage is a meeting and coordination with the village head and head of the PKK women's group who will be given training in making eco-friendly soap. The second stage is the activity of preparing material and preparing practical methods. The third stage, namely coaching and training, includes providing material to training participants in the form of theory and demonstrations. The results of this community service found that 10 people out of 25 participants were able to answer pretest questions regarding eco-friendly soap and the ingredients for making it. The results of the eco-friendly soap-making tutorial showed that as many as 20 participants were able to answer the post-test questions and understand how to make eco-friendly soap. Based on the results of oral questions and answers, it was found that as many as 15 participants were interested in continuing the results of their service by making their own eco-friendly soap and using it for their families.
