Sistem Informasi Geografi Pemetaan Pendidikan Sekolah SD, SMP, Dan SMA Negeri Berbasis Android Di Kabupaten Cilacap

Abstract

Pendidikan di Kabupaten Cilacap tergolong lengkap disemua wilayahnya, dari 24 Kecamatan semua sudah tersedia fasilitas pendidikan sampai sekolah menengah pertama, baik Negeri ataupun Swasta. Tercatat terdapat SD, SMP, dan SMA Negeri yang terdapat di Cilacap sudah mencapai 1,093 sekolah, yang terdiri dari 983 SD Negeri, 89 SMP Negeri, dan 21 SMA Negeri. Setiap sekolah telah memiliki website sebagai media informasi yang mampu diakses secara global, namun informasi informasi yang ditampilkan dalam website tersebut bersifat umum. Banyak masyarakat yang belum mengetahui lokasi geografi sekolah negeri. Hal ini menyebabkan masyakat sulit mencari dan mendapatkan informasi tentang lokasi dan fasilitas dari masing- masing sekolah, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sistem informasi geografi agar dapat menyampaikan informasi lokasi dan fasilitas dari sekolah kepada masyarakat. ini memetakan pendidikan sekolah SD, SMP, dan SMA negeri di Kabupaten Cilacap. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Sistem Informasi Geografi berbasis Android, penyampain informasi tentang fasilitas dan lokasi yang lebih cepat, mudah, dan efisien tidak perlu mendatangi secara langsung ke sekolah.

Abstrak

Provision of education in Cilacap regency has been complete in all over the areas, in term of education level and the facilities. In 24 sub-districts belong to Cilacap regency, both private and public schools are available; including primary and secondary schools. There are 1.093 schools in Cilacap including 983 public primary schools, 89 public junior high schools, and 21 public senior high schools. Each school has its official website functioned as an information media that could be accessed globally. However, information displayed in the website were rather general and not complete. Consequently, many people could not find location of the public schools. Public also got difficulties to get facilities information of the schools. Therefore, the geographic information system was needed in order to provide information of the school location and facilities easily. This research mapped the location of public primary schools, public junior high schools, and public senior high schools in Cilacap regency. Utilizing Android based Geographic Information System, the location and facility information of the schools was presented faster, easier, and more efficient; people did not need to visit the schools directly to get the information.
