Abstract

ABSTRAK

Presensi merupakan komponen penting dalam instansi pendidikan sebagai indikator kehadiran dan disiplin siswa. SMP Negeri 16 Kota Cirebon mengalami kendala dalam proses pencatatan kehadiran karena sistem presensi masih menggunakan metode manual berbasis kertas. Permasalahan tersebut meliputi kesulitan rekap data, rentan kehilangan data, serta proses perbaikan yang tidak efisien. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, dirancanglah sistem presensi online berbasis web dengan tujuan meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan aksesibilitas data kehadiran siswa. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel, serta Tailwind CSS dan Livewire pada sisi tampilan, dan dibagi menjadi dua bagian: publik (Home, Kepegawaian, Kesiswaan, Profil, PPDB) dan portal guru yang dilengkapi fitur login, presensi, dan manajemen user. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan model waterfall dengan tahapan: analisis, desain, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mencatat dan merekap data kehadiran secara otomatis serta menyediakan akses informasi real time bagi wali murid. Kesimpulannya, sistem ini berhasil meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan presensi dan mendukung digitalisasi administrasi di lingkungan sekolah.

ABSTRACT

Attendance is a crucial component in educational institutions as an indicator of student presence and discipline. SMP Negeri 16 Kota Cirebon faces challenges in recording attendance due to the use of manual paper-based methods. These issues include difficulty in data recap, high risk of data loss, and inefficient data correction processes. To address this, a web-based online attendance system was designed to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of student attendance records. The system was developed using the Laravel framework, with Tailwind CSS and Livewire for the interface. It is divided into two segments: the public section (Home, Personnel, Student Affairs, Profile, Admissions), and the teacher portal equipped with login features, attendance input, and user management. The system development applied the waterfall model consisting of stages: analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Test results show that the system effectively records and recaps attendance automatically, and enables real-time access for parents. In conclusion, the system successfully improves the quality of attendance management and supports the digital transformation of school administration.
