Abstract

ABSTRAK

Distributor XYZ merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang mendistribusikan produk barang konsumsi di wilayah Jawa Tengah dengan total 16 Depo, saat ini mengandalkan proses pengambilan keputusan dan pemantauan penjualan melalui pengiriman email dan penggunaan Microsoft excel sebagai alat pemantauan. Pendekatan ini dapat berisiko pada ketidaktersediaan data yang terorganisir dengan baik, mengakibatkan potensi gangguan pada efisiensi proses pengambilan keputusan. Hingga saat ini, Distributor XYZ belum menerapkan Business Intelligence sebagai sarana dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan. Business Intelligence ini diharapkan dapat membantu Distributor dalam menganalisis KPI dan tren penjualan berdasarkan volume. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan sistem Business Intelligence dalam memantau penjualan dan evaluasi kinerja karyawan. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah Business Intelligence Roadmap, yang mencakup 6 tahapan, yaitu: justification, planning, business analysis, design, construction, dan Deployment dengan menggunakan alat Google Data Studio atau Looker. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Business Intelligence pada Distributor dapat membantu memonitor kinerja karyawan dan tren penjualan secara komprehensif.

ABSTRACT

Distributor XYZ is a company that distributes consumer goods products in the Central Java region with a total of 16 Depots, currently relying on decision-making processes and sales monitoring through email delivery and the use of Microsoft excel as a monitoring tool. This approach can risk the unavailability of well-organized data, resulting in potential disruptions to the efficiency of the decision-making process. Until now, Distributor XYZ has not implemented Business Intelligence as a means to support decision making. This Business Intelligence is expected to help Distributors in analyzing KPIs and sales trends based on volume. This research aims to implement a Business Intelligence system in monitoring sales and evaluating employee performance. The method to be used is the Business Intelligence Roadmap, which includes 6 stages, namely: justification, planning, business analysis, design, construction, and Deployment using Google Data Studio or Looker tools. The results of the study show that the implementation of Business Intelligence at the Distributor can help monitor employee performance and comprehensive sales trends.
